Wanna know what you guys think. I got a a4 ws6 basic mods. My buddy has a 06 mustang gt 5 speed. Think I can take him. He's bee talkin' way too much......

I've owned both, you should be able to humiliate him. Examples of my cars:

2000 Trans Am - stock M6 - 13.40 @ 105 mph
1999 Camaro SS - stock M6 - 12.84 @ 104 mph
2006 Mustang GT - stock M5 - 14.01 @ 99 mph

i beat one from a 50 roll to 120....by 4 cars easy, another with 3 guys in it by 7 or more from a dig

i raced an 04 mustang GT and i beat him worse than i beat my friends 95 trans am. of course i have an 11 sec car but im just saying the 04 seemed slower than my friends 95 and both were stock

I've seen one suprise me, but crushed another. One A5 got a 13.6X to my 13.86 at Moroso- not the same night though. It only had CAI and pullies I had mods in sig.

The other was a stock vert M5, I had an extra passenger and the t-tops down, and I drilled the man from 20-60. In the stang's defense, he did take his sweet time on the 1-2 shift, but he also got the hit, I wasn't very impressed at all.

A couple of months back while on my way home from school some jackass in a brand new mustang GT pulled next to me on the freeway and was trying to get me to race him. I was trying to blow him off, even made a half assed attempt at a race just to get him to f**k off but he was persistent. He had his girl with him so maybe thats why. Anyway, I finally gave in and raced. We slowed down to about 45 or 50, can't really remember, and floored it. I started in 3rd and by the time I shifted to 4th I had him by half a car lenght. That quickly increased to a full car lenght but then had to slow down because I caught up to traffic. This time he got the hint and just drove by me in the car pool lane. And all I have is a catback exhaust and a K&N filter, which was dirty at the time.

How in the world did you get a 99 to go 12.82 in the quarter with a trap of only 104 with a stock SS???

I mean that is over half a second faster with 1 less mph. You had to have changed gears or something.

Ya i ran 1 from a dig but he had some exaust work i know bc it sounded really good, and maybe some other mods not for sure but my 99 ta was stock b4 the parts in the sig! all i had was bfg drag radials and 1st race i put half a car on him 2nd race from dig we sit there at the starting line for like 5 min so i started running like 210 degrees but no need for excuses but he got the jump on me he kinda red lighted a lil bit but he did put bout half car on me but the ls1 was coming on strong, these were bout 1/8 mile runs.

If he is talking too much then I bet he has NOS or soothing to challenge
Or even line up with an LS1.
Mustang’s driver ignores me in the road and they don’t even dare to drive past any LS1 except if they are heavily moded.

My friend saw an 06 GT run a 13.0 with full exhaust. Another with only a supercharger run a 12.0.
