Default pwr window question (illumination)

i swear i remember being in an older LT1 and the power window/lock button lit up? mine barely lights up around the button, am i not remembering correctly?

You'd think with the steering wheel controls being lit up, they would've done the other buttons too, but noooooooo :\

i swear they did, the car im thinkin of was a camaro though??

I thought it was weird that my 98 Grand Am had internally illuminated lock buttons, but the lock/window buttons on my 2002 Trans Am aren't internally illuminated, but rather, have that red LED that shines down on them. Seems like they were trying to save money to me.

You know, actually, I still have a driver's side power window switch panel for a Grand Am. Maybe I'll see about swapping those in so the buttons themselves are lit.
