i highly recommend pacesetters and an off road Y pipe from Texas-speed and performance. BUT Headers can be a huge PITA to install on an LT1

I agree, the headers are the hardest thing to install on the LT1's. Thanks for the info.

Thanks alot bro. I think that I have seen your car also in the parking lot. It looks pretty good. I have always wanted a hawk but never found one that was within my budget.

SLP headers are really pricey too from what I've seen and heard.

You can find a set of Kooks on here used for the price of slp's headers new.
And from what I have read on here. Kook are 'teh' header.

I am curious would pacesetter long tube headers bolt on stock exhaust or would you need a Y pipe and an exhaust shop to fabricate it... i own a 2001 firebird formula

yep im with him go to summit.com you should beable to get some pacesetters for like $350 i think and hell if you aint sure whar gear is in it get a 3.73 cuz its a a4 car ? right you dont want slp i have them on mine and a buddy has pacesetters and a few other bolt ons and thats the only diffrent thing is the brand and he has more power then me so for power sake, go with pacesetters
