Default SHould i get this hood? Opinions needed pics inside

Ok i need a stock black hood to put on the TA im picking up soon. I found this one. It hsd a vinyl sticker of some sort that can be removed with a heat gun and some patience. BTW the TA is all black. Should i ride around with it or try to peel it off? So what do you think?

I dont like it but thats just me. I would say it depends on what your color choices are for your car. If you have yellow or orangeish accents etc. then it would look good. Im just not a fan of the bird on the hoods of these cars. ON the older muscle cars they look great though. Good luck with your decision

If you like it then leave it.......if you don't just heat it up and peel it off.

If you do peel it off, I hope that it's not too badly sunbaked. If it is, some of the clearcoat and/or paint might come off with it.

Default Test Drive

Maybe you could run it for a few months and decide if you like it. One thing is guaranteed, you won't see a twin at every other intersection with that hood. That is what I have been doing with my current stripe job.

I'd like to see a car with that hood on it. I think it would look pretty sweet, and like everyone else said, worst case you can just take it off.

You need to have more gold on the car to tie it in. It would look out of place otherwise. Tricky balance.

I love the bird, but I prefer them on the 2nd gen Trans-Am.

Me personally I would never have that on my car, but to each is own. And I agree they belong more on a 2nd gen.

thatd be cool with the gold firehawk rims. if i was to have it done i would have the emblem off the rear filler duplicated myself.that looks like the harley bird in different colors. in fact, they sell that same bird but in red and white and black at a local harley dealer as well as pep boys. I dont think its a firebird emblem i think somone found it somewhere and had it enlarged. But i could be way wrong and ill admit it becuase this kinda dies with the 2nd gens and not too many people see it enough to know much about it
