Default 4.3L Firebird?

Hear the add from an autoseller

http://www.autoseller.ca/trader/resu...1&vid=25896973

bad pic but what do you think of it, was there ever a 4.3 V6 for the F body?
Is this to much money for a V6?

They did a change for the 3.4 to the 3.8 in the middle of 97 (could of been 95) some i think they did a misstype or the car had a swap. check under the hood, or call them about it.

yeah I was pretty sure there was no available 4.3 V6 for the Firebirds/Camaros, so same as you my money is on a misprint. Either way if I get it once its paid for, engine swap hear I come , while keeping stock badges....gotta love a sleeper. So would you guys pay about 5600 U.S for this car, I know I know its only a V6 but I havent been able to find a decently priced Formula or Trans-Am around.

the 3.8 was a dealer option in '95, standard in '96

if its factory the only engine that could possibly be in that car is the 3.8. Theres a popular truck engine thats swappable i think its a 4. something but its rare and people that do it usually keep their cars so youll just have to go look under the hood.

ok it doesnt really matter to me wether it has the 3.8 or a 4.3 because I plan on doing an engine swap evetually if i get it. What are the differences between the Firebird V6 and the Formula besides engine/tranny?

I thought the rear end was the same just different diffy and gears.

Oh and dont forget the Drive shaft, I think most V-6 have a 2 piece shaft. Dont ask me what GM would do that haha
