Suncoast Creations "Raptor".

Couple clues, No Firehawk heat extractors as mentioned before, No Firehawk front emblem, center of the Raptor comes over the bumper like the OE hood as does this photo shown, & Firehawk hood doesn't dip down in the center-back as much as the Raptor shown.

For example, ...

No, that is definitely a Suncoast Creations Raptor hood...

Just like these. Note the oval shaped nostrils...

And then look at a Firehawk... the hood is flatter, and the nostrils are more of a trapezoid shape..

Also noteworthy about the Firehawk hood was the fact that SLP actually cut the nose. That's why on the front center "peak" there is a smooth transition between the nose & hood.

I've been looking at hoods too. The FireHawk hood is way better IMO. But the Raptor (WITH EXTRACTERS) is almost the same but not quite. The Raptor isn't as flat and has a slighty dif shapped opening, you can see it quite well in the pics posted.

$850 for the Raptor Hood with Extractors, and $300 for the SunCoast intake that promises +25hp.

The cheapest I've seen the Firehawk was $1200 New.

Honestly I dunno if the SLP intake kit or the SunCoast intake kit (both $300) is better.

I really doubt anyone will see a 25 horsepower gain, it is a sweet looking hood though.

those raptor hoods are really nice, but I have to say that the SLP firehawk hood is my favorite hood for the LS1 TA and Birds

hands down. they just look good
