Default Odometer Gone Dark

The backlight on the LED went out on my Monsoon head unit about 4 years ago; I've lived with that, but this morning the same thing happened to my odometer. Any advice on getting the odo visible again?

you know that the backlight on the Monsoon seems pretty easy to replace, just take out the stereo and pull of the face just a couple plastic tabs and it pops out, then you will be able to see the ICB for the unit and there will be a slot for the little light.

My steering wheel controls light went out once, I pulled it out, took of the buttons and took out the old bulb, went to radio shack and replaced it with a new one, EASY stuff, as long as you have good soldering technique and patience, if you dont, find a good computer tech, and ask them to do it for you, anyways good luck
