Default side vents

Hey guys I know the side vents on our cars extract alittle heat but is there any way to get more of the engine bay heat out from these vents???

are they even the least bit functional? They're kinda far away from any real heat sources

buy are firehawk hood with the functional heat extractors wish my ceta hood had them,,,,,only thing i miss from my old hawk!!!

They Dont Extract Any Heat From The Engine Bay. The Work In Conjunction With The Scoops Under Your Turn Signals To Increase Aerodynamics

um actually no. look at the car, there is no provision for that. the wheel wels are solid. no way to flow air like you are talking.

Yeah, the side vents on a fourth-gen are purely for decoration. There is no way for air to even get to them so it could escape.

Well I've never looked at a late 4th. So it was an assumed guessed. I find it silly they didn't do that.

hi did you ever hold your hand over the hood heat extractors ?????? there's a **** load of heat being EXTRACTED 02 hawk.

if you cut openings on both sides of your wheel wells i bet the air would just come flyin through. through the front brake duct and out the side vent. Itd create a healthy vacuum i bet

well maybe we could drill some holes into the inner wheel wells from the engine bay is this possible?

I wouldn't waste your time....if the car is overheating it's not because those vents aren't functional....something is wrong with the cooling system.

Default I want functional vents

Is there anybody here that know how I can make the side vents on my 2000 Firebird functional. It drives me crazy that they are just there for looks and I want them to see some use
