3275lb car possible? Hello,
I plan to get a Firebird Formula (not ws6) this summer
. I want to make it a light highway car.
I was wondering if I could bring the weight of the car without fuel and without a driver to 3275lbs?

He did saw with out fuel and driver in his question...
You may have to do some extra lightening. Remove the rear seats, spare tire and jack and then dont add any extra things like SFC, STB, or anything else that is going to add weight. Maybe have to remove the AC system as well.
I think most of the Formulas were right around 34xx from the factory. I went to weigh my Formula this weekend but the line was too long so I dont have the number as of yet.

very easy to do!!
my car weighs 3120 w/out me and 1/4 tank of gas
w/ me in it it weighs 3260.
just takes time to pull the stuff out. go to the drag racing tech and at the top theres a sticky of weight rduction list and that will get you on your way.
