Firebird with Leather Interior
Could you order a 96 firebird with leather interior? I know all trans am's were leather, but was leather available on a 6 cylinder firebird. Thanks Brandon.

T/A's came with Leather from the factory since 93, and I think after 98 the majority came with. All you have to do is look for seats you like 82-02. They all fit (believe it or not).

Well I'm sure you could special order with cloth after 98. I thought 93-02 TAs came with Leather, but if you say No, then I believe you. I never would've imagined they'd do powered cloth, that's pretty cool. Going from cloth (91) to leather (93) I can see why some would prefer it. I don't mind it all that much, but it is much easier to rip. The side of my seat, by the plastic/rubber rippled side support has about a 1-1/2" rip I need to sew up with some heavy duty thread. Maybe some black monofilament heh.

the leather was swapped into a v6 camaro then. My dad has a cehvy dealer and to my knowledge the only camaros we ever sold we took them off the delivery truck and into an upholstery shop. But im not an expert. I meant leather was AVAILABLE but not standard on everything except a 93-97 v6 camaro. After 98 however, leather was standard on trans ams and cloth was a special order. Just like a hardtop

I hate the leather. It's so cheap calling it leather is being generous. Most of the seat is actually vinyl. Only the perforated sections are leather. I much prefer cloth. I'd probably pay someone to take the leather if they provided me with cloth replacements.
