The harnesses are the same between LT1 and LS1 cars. I recently put a 2001 rear bumper cover on my 1995 'bird and all the wiring plugged right in.

they are different, but interchangeable...

the LT1 93-96 (maybe 97, im not sure, some of the 97 stuff was the 98+ stuff so who knows)
anyway the early harness uses twist in bulbs which i believe are 2057's. My 95 had these bulbs and when the sockets started failing i went to a Trans Am salvage yard in miami, fl and they told me the newer harness with 3057 plug in bulbs would work... the guy said he had all the bulbs for the 3057s but not for the small taillights on the far left/right, but i had put new ones in my harness only a few weeks before, so i swapped the taillight harnesses right there in the parking lot, and everything bolted up perfectly
