Default 78 t/a power windows question

hey, i have a 79 trans am that i turned into a 78. I have shorted the power wire that goes to the power windows and i am just wondering if its a fuse or circut breaker? ive searched the fuse box and no blown fuses if its a CB, where is it located? thanks

i dont think there are breakers. just glass fuses by the e-brake pedal. are you sure it was the wire. the switch itself could have gone bad. went on mine.

Yep, power window switch is very common to go out. Pull it out and test it. Replace if needed - they're cheap. Also, try this link for wiring info:

Look at my own link ( ), there IS a Power Window relay. Might be that, too.

LOL no fellas the switch is out of it. im in the process of rebuilding her (almost done) and the power wire must have shorted out against the seat belt.

I have a switch if you need one.
Dont know how its in the GM box but I can see
that the harness plug has been plugged into it.
