The WS6 option was available on Formula's from `96-`00
Approx 630 LS1 equipped Formula WS6's were built between `98-`00.

It's an approximation based off percentages of those numbers in the link.
2123 Total
651 Manual Trans
556 Hard Tops
304 Navy Blue Metallic
Until GM releases detailed Production numbers this is the best that can be done. They only made one NBM Formula WS6 in 1998 and mines not it. I picked up the R/A hood for $250 back in `99. When I ordered the car I didn't get the WS6 package cause I didn't want to pay $3150 for an option that gave no extra HP. Knowing about the rarity like I know now I wish I would of.
An chrysler kid if yours is a BGM `98 it's rarer than mine.

ok i was just wondering because id like to get a build number on mine. to my knowledge there are only two other bgc formulas on ls1tech, 129 blue green chameleon / mystic teal metallic formulas were made. i figure count in all my options and my car is one of one. hardtop, cloth, power windows/seats/locks, non tcs, m6. not that is makes any difference but one day in thirty or forty years maybe it will be a sought after collectable.
minw is just a formula aswell and i put the hood on a few months ago. im the second owner and the previous owner wrote all of his information in the manual in the glove box
when i first got the car i really wished i had a t/a for the t-tops and body kit (bumpers skirts and wing) but now that i have spent some time on ls1 tech i really love my formy. almost everyday i see someone posting new pics of t/a's but i rarely see any birds

Wow yours is Chameleon, that is an awesome color and I almost picked it but I wanted something different and the NBM was new.
Car looks great and being that yours is similar to mine except the color
your probably around 1 of 10. And If you have tan cloth it might be even rarer.
I never really cared about the possible rarety of my car anyway I drive it and enjoy it.
