Default Whats a 1987 Firebird Formula worth?

Quick question here. I have a 1987 Firebird formula hard top, 350 engine, auto trans with 20k miles on it. Its only claim to fame would be in 1987 was the year they brought back the 5.7 "350 ci" engine, I am the origional owner. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being perfect it would be a solid 9. No winters, very little rain and stored in doors. Anyone have any idea on its value? I can supply the VIN if anyone wants to know more about it. Oh yea its yellow with the formula decals on the side.

yellow is a pretty rare color for third gens. i had a black 90 ws6 formy, 305 tpi with 93,000 original miles and i got $2,500 for it. good luck - are you selling or just curious what its worth?

I am thinking about selling it. If its not worth much then I'd probably keep it and maybe somewhere down the line if the price ever came up I would try and sell it. I even have the window sticker it came with.

20k miles since 87? damn, very nice. hold onto it, something like that will only go up in value. all original, with documentation, id definetly hold onto it, enjoy it while you can. if you really want to sell, wait a few more years, and look into it. my wild *** guess could be 8k or so for it right now.

20k miles for a third gen bird. I'd give it in between 10-15k

That low of mileage...I'd guess close to 10, but IMO I'd hold on to it. Enjoy it and sell it later, if you wish.

I don't know how you could "enjoy" something that you couldn't drive . Reminds me of having a pet rock. But thats just my opinion.

thats to much, if its not tpi it would only see around 4,500 max. i had a 88 iroc-z with 80k original miles in mint condition(9) and i sold it for 4,800.

Its a Formula 350...it is TPI.

For what its worth I was looking at buying a 90 Formula from a guy in FL with 28K miles on it...9.5 all the way around. It was a 305 TB car (L03) but had a 5speed...he wanted $5500 for the car. I offered $3.5K for it...which was about right for a non-TPI car. (BTW I have bought 8 (and sold 6) 3rd gens in the last 12 months.)

Formulas are WAY under appreciated (I have a 87 myself)...if it was a IROC or GTA it would be worth $10K but as it is you would have to find the right buyer to get $7500 for it.
