If so, what did you use? Mine are yellow and cracked and I want to upgrade to something else. Yes, I TRIED to use the search but that is a joke.

I replaced mine with factory replacements from rockauto.com ... they look 10X better than the wore out ones.

If another look is what you're after, they make a "black-out" kit ... check the WS6store

I replaced both of mine with stock lens/housing units from gmpartsdirect. I purchased new bulb sockets from Advanced Auto.

Tip: Before installing the housing, seal the gap between the lens and the housing with plumbers epoxy. It'll help keep the moisture out.

Seems like a nice bead of clear silicone would be best for this, IMHO.

Clear silicone will work. I used plumbers epoxy (I used the clear type) only because it does the same thing, but is resitant to mold and mildew. Some silicones are not. And since that area can get pretty wet...

I've seen people banned for these kind of comments.

I bought replacements from a company on ebay...I think it wasn't much more than $50 for both housings. One of the best appearance mods I've done to my car was getting rid of those yellow cracked housings and replacing them with some clean clear ones.

I bought clears off from ebay. If you go that route make sure you seal them good, wouldn't want any water to give you hell.
