My Moms T/A... PICS!!!
First night out she ran a 13.39 @ 104 spinning (Old Nittos,) in drive, chirping 1-2 shift. But on the way home we raced a cobra that said he ran a 12.9 and him (me and my brother in the back seat aided traction somewhat), but the worst part was, my mom was driving!!! .
She bought it with all the mods already installed.
Mods:
"H" pipe w/ Flowmasters (OFF ROAD)
SLP lid
Vette rims
3.90 rear gear
shift kit
It fells like it makes over 400 hp though, what other mods could it have ???

i wouldnt consider this car a "sleeper" by any means. these times are normal for an A4 w/ lid, exhaust and gear. its gonna be around 310 rwhp according to what mods you mentioned, nowhere near 400 hp. you'd have a noticable healthy cam lope, and headers with a better flowing exhaust if you were hoping for 400 hp, a well as ALL the other supporting bolt ons.

those arent spectacular times for your car. BONE STOCK LS1s have, with good air, traction, and driving, gone low 13s if not hitting the 12.9s before, on street tires. drag radials help alot, and so does it being an auto with a gear swap. theres nothing special done to it, trust me. crank hp would be im guessing 370ish, rwhp around 310 or so. if the only mods done are what you listed, its one small step up from stock. that being said, you dont have a factory freak......you dont have a modified motor.....you dont have anything secret. what you have, pal, is an LS1, and THAT is what a good LS1 can do on a good day. your dad is probably thinking something must be done to it for it to run like that basically stock. but, again, on a good day, with good driving, thats what an LS1 can do, especially with gears. we all know these cars were underrated and underestimated from day one. 13.3 is a very good time for an auto LS1. not fantasic, but very good. if you were running 12.8s or lower, then id say for sure something more was done to it. the et. is good, the trap speed isnt so high. the et shows its an auto, good traction and very good launch. then trap speed is average. my car, in sig, ran at best 13.4 @ 108. that shows a shitty launch (stick shift, no practice drag racing) with no traction. but high horsepower, pulling hard up top to get a fast trap speed.
youre only 12.....im sure it feels blindingly fast. but until you actually drive one, bone stock and then with bolt-ons, gears, etc., youll understand what speed feels like. just be glad your mom has a nice car, and if you stay on her good side, it might be yours in a few years. take care of it, learn about it, enjoy it when you can.
