Default My 1998 Trans AM

Hi,
I just wanted to present you my 1998 Pontiac Trans AM.
I am 20 years old and live in germany.

Here is my car and one pic of my bike.

These pics are from August this year.

Just tell me how you like it.

I am thinking about to get clear side markers in the front and smoked in the back.
What do you think

Nice car! Any plans to add the rest of the CETA decals on the side? Or did you remove them?

i wanted to add them, but i damaged it.
But it looks good anyway. I am thinking now if i should add "TRANS AM" over the whole side. maybe that would look great

Please....don't do that....people will still know it's a Trans Am even if it doesn't say it everywhere on the car. The side Trans Am's on the doors are sufficient and alot of people even take those off along with the side moldings to make for a sleeker look like on the Black Birds. The less decals on the car, the better (IMO)...unless your car is a 1970-1980 2nd gen car.
The CETA birds on the hood are ok. Definetly go with the clear corners as on a silver car they are sexy as hell!!
Overall...very nice car and nice bike!!

That a sweet Trans Am. I would leave appearance the way it is. Also you can take the bird emblem piece off the nose and put your plate there instead of down on the front bottom like it is now.

yeah the wheels where on the car when i bought it.
i am looking for not chrome wheels in 18" but i dont know which offset i need.
here is a pic of rims i would like to have but they are not available fopr my car´

I heared its possible to mount bmw rims, but the 120 is n ot the same then 120.65

What is about the offset. In my american racing wheels there is a number 50mm.
So these rims have an offset of 50mm. right?
SO i would take 50mm offset again because that looks grat.

Don't be afraid of the BMW bolt pattern 1000's of people are using it with No problems. Depending on the width of the rims in question anywhere between 35-55mm offset will work.

you are so lucky. BMW tuner rims are the ****- but theyre hella expensive mainly cause they are actually imported from germany. But you live there. Can you get rims like ac schnitzer and hamann heall cheap? I really would like some ac schnitzer type 2's. but im not spending $4,000 on rims. Or ottenger has some nice rims. Dude, hamann pg2's look so bad *** on our cars id try to pick some of them up.

Nice looking car! Is that reflective vinyl on the center panel or some tricky way of lighting it?

I bet it's badass to be able to go over 100mph on the road over there and not have to worry about being arrested! It's probably awesome to own an American sports car in Europe.

word on the 100+mph legality over there....and i would like to know about the bird on the back (looks lit to me)

Either way you go, clear out BOTH the front and back side markers, or smoke them BOTH, either way will look killer on silver, but dont smoke one set and clear the other....just my opinion...

Hi everyone.
In some weeks my clear side markers will arrive here in Germany for the front and rear.

To the center filler part I can tell you. It lid with leds in the back.
It took very long time to do it like that. But now listen. I had this 5 days on my car and some idiots on the streets destroyed it, and also my taillights.
Taillights are ordered of a member of this board and the center filler i have the original one, but ia m going to do it again with the leds and then i write an how to for all of you.
