At first when I say it said GT, I thought the guy was just making it up. Then went on saying the TA GT was only made in 1994. So I googled "1994 Pontiac Trans AM GT" with some results, which got me thinking.

Did Pontiac really have a TA GT in 1994?

My TA is a "GT" but does not look like that one pictured

From everything that I have been told yes 1994 is the only real Trans Am GT, and the window sticker that came with my car says "1994 Firebird Trans Am GT" for the headding. I wish that my TA had a couple of things off of the new package, mostly the rims, the sticker on the door, side skirts and maybe the rear bumper, cause mine looks almost like the link that I quoted, I just have the "Trans Am" on the key fob and the "Trans Am" lettering on the door.

the above pictured firebird gt is an aftermarket specialty car, not a factory prduction model. A Trans am was a basic formula with the front end and side skirts. Thats it. The GT package was t-tops, rear bumper, high rise spoiler, peformance a4(if auto), two toned leather option(black and red is gorgeous!!!!!!!inspired the zo6 mod red).cant remeber what else
