I'm about to ask a dumb *** question because I don't have pics and the car is in storage and a pain to get at. I was just wondering in a run of the mill '98 red T/A, typically what color are the seats?? I've only had the car since late fall, and ended up putting it away before really getting to know it. What color did GM refer to them as...Grey, Ebony, Graphite, or Opal??? Which were available that year in leather? The carpet is black and I remember the seats being lighter than that. Floor mats are dark grey.

Would ebony seats look funny in an otherwise grey or dark grey interior??

they look a little funny, but not bad (imho) but then again I have ebony plastics, seats, and center console in my red 98 ws6, the ebony (2000-02 color) is more brown than black and the graphite (97-99) is more gray than black,.

They would look funny, at least IMHO. Then again, I am not a fan of the ebony color scheme. I prefer the graphite color of the 93-96 cars. Also, I believe the interior color was referred to as medium gray.
