Default Headlight motor stopper?

Hey I have pulled my headlight motor a number of times to fix it. I noticed that the DS does not have the small plastic caps on the thing that stops the arm when it goes up or down? Is this an issue? Where can I find those plastic caps? Autozone? Hardware store?

what are you trying to fix. Im pretty much a pro at these headlights, as for the little plastic peice its not really an issue but good to have. Is your headlight making a really bad noise going up or down?

Not really I just have had fits with these headlights in the past and am trying to prevent further issues. So that little plastic piece is not important? Anybody know where I can get one? I'm so OCD.

not a huge deal... i'm sure the dealer has it.. but you can just wrap it in electrical tape for now.

That plastic tab can easily be replaced with a small length of rubber fuel line hose. Just find the right diameter to slip over the tab and you should be good.
