Default Headlight Motor.

So my driver side headlight makes the grinding noise for about 5 seconds after I shut the lights off.

Can I just buy the brass gear, or do I need the whole motor?

use the sticky thread, but what i have found is the brass is only just a tempory fix. you have to make sure that the metal clips on the motor are extremely tight to the plastic gear housing, if they are loose even the metal gear will strip. if i could do it again, i would have skipped the brass gear and just put in a plastic one that can be picked up from Napa for 12 bucks. o-yah, all you need is just the gear though.
