is my rearend ok?
i gotta 94 Firebird...
my rearend ticks/clicks when i back up and a couple times when i begin going forward again...
is it my rear drum brakes??
i heard it could be a posi rearend..but i dont spin both tires so i think i have a limited slip rear...
im a little worried about his....

What are the specifics of your 'Bird? (I assume your name doesn't reflect it)
Base, Formula, T/A? If by some odd chance you odn't now, V6 or V8? Not many(or any maybe) V8s in 4th Gen (that I've seen) had Drum.
It is posi, it is Auburn and uses Clutch Disk, however they can go out, or if someone didn't put the additive in then it won't work.
And SLP, the LT1s are a great motor, so hush Long lasting just like the LSx. Plus, the LT1 can hang with the LS1 pretty well from a stand still! (Hang Well: Probably still lose, but not by a **** load till after 80mph~)

no my name doesnt reflect my ride...i made it up before i got a f-body..
its a 1994 V6 Base model firebird..
but its all stock and only has 60k on the whole car..old women owned it first..
and are you sure its has a posi rear...the manual says i could have either of them

The best way to check, is the RPO sheet. I believe yours will still be in the glove box on the door portion. Rectangular sticker, looks like this:
If not there, it'll be on the Driver Door in the jam (on the door, not the body).
If you can get a picture of that, we can figure out everything it has. Most 6s didn't get posi though.
