Default My 84 Trans Am

Hello new to the site. Just wanted to shoot some pics of my car out there. been building it for a while. here is a little background on the car.

Bought the Car in 1992 with 21,000 garage kept original miles. car has about 50,000 now.
was an original 305 h.o with a 5 speed. Still original paint on car. I think it looks pretty good for a 24 year old paint job. LOL

well hope you like.

Looks good! Wasn't expecting to see that motor with the first pic hah. Only "cretique" from me is paint the shock towers and fix that pass side light (doesn't look like it's the hood, but could be).

Good job.

Yeah it the hood.. Fiberglass if that says anything. Also looking for a clean set of rear tail lights.

car runs 6.7x and 103.xx in the 1/8 with a real conservative tune.

When we say "Tune", we are talking about computers, but are you referring to jets in the carb or?

running -3 -4 deg from total advance on Distributer, along with a being little rich.( carb jets) I had a high compression 400 block that was worked made 3 passes and it scattered. so this time I am taking it slowly. LOL

and it was also coming out @3000 and stabbing it. no trans brake.
Trans brake is next so I can leave off the rear bumper..
