Wondering if it's a good deal...?
Hey guys, I'm new to this whole forum thing, but I'm considering purchasing a 2000 Trans Am WS6 from a guy I work with. I'm getting the money together, but I was wondering if this was a good deal. So, other than it's a 2000, it's black on black, t-top, M6, 120k miles, replaced a/c, among other things. it's stock though, the only parts that were replaced where gm only parts. He is willing to sell it to me for 8k, or 10k to other people. SOoo my question to you guys is what do you think? Are there better deals out there or is this a great opportunity? Appreciate all feed back

I believe the clutch was replaced, but it's in reallllly good condition, the paint is nearly flawless. The guy bought it for his daughter and she drove most of the miles, almost all highway. No leaks, oil was always changed on time. He had the 100k mile warranty on it and always took it to the dealership to make sure everything was running perfectly. The interior is decent, but that's where the trans am lacked was interior, but exterior looks great, and the engine bay looks awesome...very, very clean for 120k miles.

What else do I need to check for in this car with it's current mileage...or what do I need to ask the guy I am purchasing it from? What parts do I need to be weary about breaking down and what not

The clutch was replaced. New brakes and slotted rotors. Always changed oil, and yes it was tuned up at or around 100k. All signals work, and brake lights, and wipers. New battery among other things, not really sure.
