Default Got a new car and new to the forum

Hey all, been a ghost on these forums for awhile but i finally went out and bought a 96 TA WS6, ive wanted one since the 1st time i ever laid eyes on one. Here are some pics what do you all think?

Only Mods as of now are SLP loudmouth and its lowered 1.5 inches. What do are some quick mods and what not to make it perform better or look better? Ive seen someone a while ago said that if you take the side skirts off it makes them look much better? true? or false? Thanks for looking!

Nice car man...though I am fond of black WS6's. Some quick mods are CAI, headers, and gears. Those are the ones that come highly recommended as being the first that should be done...and for good reason. You need to get the motor breathing first. The faster you can get the air in and out of the motor, the more hp it will make. Didn't see if the car was M6 or A4 though. That'll determine what gears are best suited to your application and dictate if a converter is in your future. Do some digging around on here using the search and you'll find what you need. There's also a sticky at the top of this forum (I think it's this one). It's loaded with answers to the same question you asked. Good luck with it.

Im guessing m6 means 6 speed and if it is, yes that is what i have. That is one thing i was really considering was putting 4.10 gears in it, how much would them run price wise?

No problem. The gears will run you a couple hundred a set. Then install all depends on who you get to do it, of course. Could be anywhere from 150 to 350. The cheapest is DIY but the tolerances needed should be exact so you won't have any whinning coming from the rear end.
