Default 2001 ws6 idle missfire on all 8 cylinders

i got my 2001 ws6 6-speed couple of weeks ago its supposed to have a cam but now i wonder if its only a missfire that sounds like a cam or a missfire with a cam

i've recently had the pcm flashed and the idle droped from 950rpm to 825rpm since the tune was erased, now i get a missfire on all 8 but only on idle i also get a code p300, i've changed wires,plugs,2 catalics, front O2's and its still there if i bump the rpms between 875-950 there's no missfire detected by the scanner, is this a normal thing for a cammed car or do i have a problem

thanks matt

nevermind found a post on http://ls1howto.com/index.php?article=23

"- If you have a check engine light, use an autotap scanner to pull the codes. A common code at this point is P0300 (Random Misfires), and may happen from time to time when idling depending on the size of your camshaft. This is nothing to worry about, and if it bugs you, tuning can get rid of it."
