Default MPG thread..Again!

Hey guys I'm sorry about making a thread like this, that has probably been beaten to death, But what do you guys average in mpg with your T/A's? What kind of driving do you do? M6 or A4?

before cam... 30 on highway (with 4.10's and exhaust) Tops out. Now with the cam 28, but I did get on it a few times so I'd say 29-30 is still possible. Not to shabby for almost 400rwhp car!!

as long as you are not getting on the engine gas mileage can be had . i still get good mileage with my setup with the addition of my custom cold air intake . this is of course if i am cruising . around 26mpg give or take depending on the landscape .

About 28, 29 last time I did the old milleage test, and that was easy highway milleage! A4 hear with basic bolt ons, heads and cam soon so it will go down.

guys I don't want to be rude but are you guys really getting 27-30mpg highway? I understand they were rated at 23-24 highway but is it really possible? I'm looking at one, and its not that i can't afford it, but if you guys are really getting 30mpg with a v8. I'd consider getting it even more, especially with 300hp etc. I was looking at an altima and it wasn't much more highway.

I like these LS1 mpg threads... I think its pretty awesome Fbodys not only pretty much rule the street but still get damn good gas mileage..
Just goes to show ya how far technology has came over the years.

my A4 with full bolt ons and 3.73's was getting 23 cruising around town.. I havent checked it since the converter but I can tell it made a big difference

I drive my car like a 80 year old woman on the way to church 90% of the time too. which makes a big difference.
