Auto Parts stores have them. They are made by AVS. I've bought two of them over the years. One from Lappens (a local chain that was recently bought by Advance) and AutoZone. The first set was $45 a few years ago, the second set was $54 more recently.
They aren't on the shelf, but the store can order it and it will arrive at the store in 3 days with no additional shipping cost.
You can also remove the "AVS" logo with 3M FinessIt II (its a fine-cut rubbing compound).
Here is how mine looked when they were on:

They clip on, but they also come with some velcro for extra insurance.
VHT NightShade. If you search around, you'll find plenty of pics with F-bodies that have it on tail lights, marker lights, etc.

I used VHT Nightshade on mine... if cleared they will look nice and shiney but i thought mine looked fine the way they were so decided not to. For $25 a can they totally fixed my old weather beaten lt1 grid tails as most of you know they look hideous when they go bad. Cant go wrong

I've had mine sprayed for almost 2 weeks now and no one has said anything to me yet. The thing that gets people in trouble is having extra plastic over the factory tail lights. Not only are they tinted but the light must travel through another piece of plastic before it is seen. When you spray the VHT on it, the only difference is they are black when not lit but just as red as before when the lights come on.

the way our car taillight are, they could think it might be factory. if you black out a civic's taillights they know. i've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for it.

I thought there was also some mod where people were removing some film inside the tail lights to help get them looking nicer. Or maybe that was to make clear tail lights for Euro cars :S
Either way, the can method looks really nice, and then you never have to worry about the double sided tape coming off and losing a cover Then again, that 3M double sided tape is fricken AMAZING O_O Put it this way, it's taken sun baked paint off before >_> Oops
