Default G8 Group Shot....

I figured since we had a group of G8's in the shop for work this week, I'd get a few shots of all of them together.

I never liked 4 door cars untill the g8 came out. I tried to talk my wife in getting one but she got the Vibe instead didn't wanna make those big notes and also she knew I would tear it up LOL

* One from Michigan that already has a cam and bolt-on's for heads and a re-tune
* Another from Michigan that has our DOD delete package, cam, cnc valve job, and bolt-on's for intake and TB porting, UD pulley, and re-tune
* One from Maryland that has a CAI, Longtubes, and a Catback for cam, cnc valve job, converter, and tune
* One from Florida for our DOD delete package, camshaft, cnc valve job, shorty headers, catback, CAI, and tune
* One from New York for a Magnacharger

From time to time it happens where we get all of the same model, here is a Vette shot from last year.

Holden knocked it out of the park with the design on this one. I like them so much I'm almost considering getting one instead of a t/a once the truck is paid off.

livernois, do you know what rims are on the black one in the center of the pic? They look nice from a distance for sure. Maybe gunmetal or grey on the spokes?

They are 18" with gunmetal spokes and polished lips, but I'm not sure of the brand. All they say is Sport Edition on the center caps.

Cool Prelim HP numbers

The car went on the dyno today for a pull. It only made 421HP on the base tune. The guys at Livernois determined that the converter was way too loose for the setup. So they pulled the converter and are sending it back to PI to get calibrated better for the setup.

I was told there is a ton of more HP to be made but this small converter issue needs to be resolved before we go any further. So it looks like they will have my car until late next week.

I THANK the guys at Livernois for going the extra step and pulling the tranny again to make my car the best it can be. They could have just said your car makes this much power and sent it home to me. And who would of knew.

THanks Again Livernois

Just to clarify a few things:

My car was baselined at 340HP with
[VMS 93 tune / headers / UDP / HSRK / stock converter]

My car pulled 421HP with the addition of
[cam / head work / 3200 stall / basic tune]

Only one dyno pull was made with the cam. It was decided that a slightly lower stall would work better with the combo. The converter was pulled and sent out to fine tune it. It should be back at LIVERNOIS on WED. Then we'll go back on the dyno to tweak the entire package. Like I said before ...I'm hoping for 450HP.
