Pontiac G8 2008-09 & Chevrolet SS 2014+ LSX based RWD 4-door sedans

So now, what would be a smoking price for a G8GT?

Just wondering what you would consider "smoking" deal right now on a G8 with the recent news.

As low as you can get it while still getting the factory backed 100,000 warranty.... But you'll be taking it to a Chevy or Caddy shop for service.

In 12/04 I bought a new GTO.....$5,000 rebate, GM increased my GM MC points to $5,000 and the dealer took off $3,000. My GTO stickerd for over $33k and I bought it for $20,600 plus tax and title. So, I think you could get one hell of a deal.

This is what I'm wondering too. I wonder if I call the dealers I've been talking to now to talk price or if they still won't know anything yet. I was going to wait until May 1st to call so the new incentives were out, but how long do we think it will take for dealers and GM to take action on these?

Yea, I was thinking for $10k off I might be a player. Last winter, Chrysler offerred employees a $10,000 rebate on several models.

A dealer called me saying, "I don't know if you heard the news this morning or not but..." And he proceeded to tell me that he didn't think that the incentives would be any better than they are now. lol Nice try. I will not be buying today. I told him to call me Friday when the new incentives are out.

Oh yeah. Almost forgot. "We're not going to be getting any more of these so we don't want you to be left out." lol

lol my dad really wants one too (and I want him to get one as well heh), but yea I emailed two dealers today I'd been talking to for him regarding lowering their prices since the announcement, one originally offered an 09 GT with sport package for 27k, and the other a used 08 w/12k for 24,000. Awaiting response, but yea now I want a killer deal at least 25k out the door for the new 09.
