Congrats!!!!
Your new #'s are damn near a duplicate of mines.....with the same mods that are proving to be consistent.
Btw: My tranny was shifting the same way as yours on the Nitrous until we lowerd the shift points about 7-800 rpm...in the sport mode, which is now dedicated for nitrous use only and regular drive is used for N/A runs.

If you dont mind could you tell me what you set the shift points to? Mine were raised to about 6500-6700 on the last tune but I'm thinking they should be lower with the N2O. You think back down to 6000RPM would be better on the juice?

Indeed its a good formula to get this big ole pig of a car moving! People are shocked when a 4,000lb car gets up and boogies!

My car was doing the exact same thing when I was spraying it. I felt like I was easily giving up .2 to .3 because the tranny was slipping at about 6200. My shift points are set at 6500 also.

Thanks guys, I went to the dyno day and the tuner lowered my nitrous shift pattern (Drive) a good bit and lowered my N/A shift pattern (Sport) about 200RPM's as well.
Crazy how different everyone of these cars shift. Our tuner has done quite a few G8's and every one shifts different, some need to be commanded 800RPM early while others are only 200RPM.

nice numbers!
i really have been thinking of running nitrous, maybe a 75 shot because i don't want to break anything. where did you get the Zex kit from? any issues?

They do very good work there, mine was tuned by them and runs awesome, and they will be putting a cam in in two weeks.
100 shot is really nothing to be worried about with the rigth accessories and tune. You'll be upping the shot from a 75 shot after about a week trust me. And id check out Nitrous outlet or HSW for a kit instead of Zex, thats just my .02.
