Default Got the wife a G8 GT today.

I bought it used with a lil under 37k on it for what I would like to think a good deal for 17,600 out the door. I was going to spend 24k on a diff car bout with the money we saved I'm going to get the car a full length exhaust, cold air system, cam kit, crank pulley and a programmer. Here's what I was thinking of getting. Hp tuners,Kooks 1 7/8 LT, borla cat back... to name a few.

Thanks guys, she loves the car. I will post a pic on Monday im out og town right now. She wants to put the new camaro wheels on the car. I don't see why not plus I can put the new camaro brembo breaks I got from a wrecked 2010 SS that I bought the front end off.

That is a really good deal. Your planned mods sound good but just so you know the Kooks LTs and x-pipe goes all the way back to the axlebacks so they dont work with the Borla catback. It could be done with custom fabrication. The tune will make a huge difference. Also 87 is fine on the stock tune but you can get more out of it with a tune and 93.

Rotofab, Vararam, or VCM are the most popular. I have the New Era OTR and it work great as well.

Sounds like you found a good deal! I'm thinking of the possibility of getting a G8 in 9 months when my Trans Am is paid off. Just not sure if i want another car payment, as the extra cash would be nice every month, and i know i couldn't just leave it stock.
