Default 2009 G8 GT FULL BOLT-ONs BUILD-UP with VIDEO!!

I wanted to do a video comparison of my wife's 2009 Pontiac G8 GT, from stock to "bolt-ons", just to see what kind of gains could be received.
East Texas Muscle Cars was great to facilitate this project. Hope you guys enjoy the video!!

The extra camera work really pulled this video together. Very professional. That white GT doesn't need much 'aftermarket love' to be something to brag about owning.

Thanks a lot bro!!! I know this can be a critical group over here, so that's awesome to hear you guys enjoyed it!
And you're right, White Hot was definitely our color of choice for this car

So you made 371/387 with full exhaust, intake, and ported TB? Thats pretty high. AWESOME!
Great Video!

Nice numbers man and great video. I'm glad someone else is putting down high numbers with full bolt ons like mine. I'm getting the those numbers are pretty high and not sure if they are right comments in my thread. Good job on the build

Those are nice numbers! You must have some ECM/TCM tune also, right?

Thanks guys! Yes, you are correct, it does have a custom dyno tune. If you go to the Youtube video, all the info is in the vid description...
That 6.0 apparently is very responsive to bolt-ons, but still get crazy good gas mileage!

Very nice work and good to see baseline + final. I wouldn't say that's high, it's pretty much dead on for what I'd expect from intake/headers/tune.

For comparison, I went w/ AFE dry filter intake, Kooks 1-7/8" LTH and custom tune as first phase of my build. With those mods I gained +64 rwhp (294 base, 358 final - same dyno etc.). You're right in line with that considering the addition of axle-backs (which I've already seen in practice accounts for the additional +5 rwhp vs. stock axle-backs).

Excellent job! Needs a cam now .

well everything you did was thing that increase gas mileage. intake/exhaust/headers/ all increase airflow. and the tune helps make the best % of air to fuel. boltons other than stalls/cams/ should next better gas mileage. also the underdrive pully. less rotating mass. nice car!!
