Default Stripes for IOM

Finally got the stripes done on her today. Here they are. Better pics when the rain stops and I get her cleaned up a bit.

Nice, black wheels would complete the look in my opinion.

I have racing stripes in my fruit of the looms.

Nope, I did use some pics of the Holden track stripes along with every other pic of a G8 with stripes I could find and used a bit from all and took my idea to a local vinyl shop here and they made them up and put them on for me. He now has the pattern stored on his computer and can cut them very easy now if anyone is interested.

Thanks, too bad all the hail that came through the middle of last week made my car look like a damn golf ball. Now gotta get that fixed.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but I love your stripes and wanted to see how much you had to pay for them. Always liked that style but they were never wide enough. Yours are perfect! I have a PBM G8 and want some dark red (almost but not quite maroon-ish) stripes (sorta like the color of the SRM G8s). Would your shop possibly still have that pattern, and like I said - how much dinero?

I'm sure he still has the pattern. Hell, he has done my car three times now. The initial install of these. Car got beat up pretty bad due to a hail storm and he redid them then. Then, November coming back home from Thanksgiving decided to try and eat the *** end of a Honda Civic and had to do the hood portion again. He really must love me. I think the strips themselves were $150 or so. But strips and install was $240. Not bad at all. PM me and I'll send you the contact number for the place that did mine if your interested.
