I know how to settle this, it can be done over any distance with a video camera.
I'll put my 2 year old grandson in his child's seat in the back of my G8GT, some brave 5.0 driver can do the same. We'll see how fast each can retrieve said child. If you don't have a grand son somebody will let you borrow one I'm sure! You probably have to buy them an ice cream cone though.
Sorry for reviving an old thread, I'm laid up with a torn cartilage and a little bored.
All in good fun guys! Drive safe!

Talk about reviving a thread!! Ha I bought the g8 from lance and put kooks mids, x pipe, circle d 2800, and a thumpr cam on a 114 ls, with a vararam cai. ran 7.70's all day long on 1.70 60'. that same buddy with the blue mustang in that video ended up burning up #8 piston, and rebuilt it and never ran better than a 7.65...needless to say we had some good races even when I got the g8....I sold it to a guy from Wisconsin and its still running strong!! Im lances brother btw...now that guy that had the 5.0 has a brand new mustang and they are actually nice on the inside! look pretty good on the outside as well!
