I wanted a GXP G8 pretty bad when they were new but couldn't justify the $40K new yet alone used a year later. The 08's are on lower end of spectrum with the 09's and GXP's the being at the top. I was hoping I could get one later this year with under 20k miles for under $32 but even now that's hard to find.

I've been looking for two months now, and have found the same thing. My problem is that I want a PSM car (there were just over 1,000 made) plus I want the Sports and Premium packages, as well as the sunroof. The closest one I have found is 1100 miles away, and still $26K, but only has 11K miles on it.

I'm selling my White Hot 2008 GT
Only mods are Vararam Intake and VMS Tune (stealth). I love this car but I'm ready for something different.

CRAYOLA COLOR MARKERS aka MAJIC MARKER... I was saying he could just buy my IOM G8 and we could paint/color it instally to whatever color he want.
BTW, I sold my BLK G8 (61k miles) today to LS1TECH member "WILDSIDE" for $23k with the aftermarket wheels, but I removed the NOS kit.

I bought the first one in Missouri in March 08 (#92 of 888) and paid full retail for mine and most did that bought them a in early 08. They did slide in price when gm announced pontiacs death. I'm glad to see them rebound a little, I did see some back then that sold for $18000.00 for a gt and thats about the cheapest I'd seen. Don't know if I'd even want to sell mine. I had a guy from stl. all over it at our big car show here. I shot him a price of 30,000.00, he wasn't as interested then I don't think. But, I didn't really want to sell it anyway, sometimes if someone bugs you long enough you just say here is the price, sometiimes they bite and most of the time their kickin tires. Good luck

Well, I purchased one this week. '09 PSM with Sports and Premium packages, but no sunroof. It is an early '09. Had 13,600 miles on the clock when I picked it up. Paid $25,299 for it, then found out it had a $1300 Crosa cat-back on it. I'm pretty happy with the purchase, HATE the dealership I bought it from, and LOVE the car.

Finally got the right tech at the dealer on the case and "ta da" a few parts and some labor later, problem fixed. Hasn't bothered me since but at the end of the day the sunroof still feels pretty chintzy.

Highly desirable car + low total production = very high resale
G8s are not mass produced cars. If you want a driver that you can trash with a V8 and RWD you should be looking at LX Mopars which are plentiful and affordable.
