Default Track day

Went to the track yesterday for the first time in the car. It's an 08 GT with tune, CAI and ported intake manifold. My best run so far with it is 13.508@104.80 with a 2.06 short time. DA was 1700. I was pretty happy with my time. Headers and a stall should get me down to the low 13's.

Headers and stall should get you going faster then low 13's. Headers along with your current mods should easily be in the 12's. Your current mods and some cheap DT headers and a tune I went 12.6 on stock tires. Guys that add a stall are in the low 12's if they put a tire on that will hook (aka DR).

I ordered some pacesetters last week, waiting for them in the mail, saving for a stall. I'm leaving the stock exhaust on the car and it will have long tubes only so itll be interesting to hear how it sounds. I didn't spin out of the hole at all, I think I need to mess with my shift points a little bit and maybe lower the rev limiter a touch. Do you shift in D or in sport shift mode? Or manually?
