I have an 09 with 54k miles, no problems with the lifters and ive owned it for 2 years now. However just had my rear main seal and cover replaced under warranty for leaking. I think the last of my warranty expires this month as well.

I've had two lifter failures. One happened 3 years ago, and the second one was discovered last year when the cam swap/DOD delete was being done. Some guys go 100k+ miles without an issue, and those guys should buy lottery tickets. Lifter failures are the most common problems with these cars.

Default headers

I have ARH on my supercharged 402 in my 2002 Firehawk, OBX in my N/A 383 in my 2000 SS and OBX in my 2009 G8. They all fit well, look good and presented me with zero issues. I will say though, I do personally believe that Kooks makes the best headers out there when it comes to attention to detail and craftsmanship, but like I mentioned, they all do the job for me.

Did you coat your headers?
Thanks

73k miles on our 09 we bought new.. No issues at all.. It has always had the usual LS engine tick when cold... I'm gonna run it til it breaks...although I don't beat on the car much since it's the wife's DD but... It has been some 13.0s with a SC Cortex tune.

It's been a great car and we love the 25-27 mpg we get on the hwy when DOD is kicked in.

This pretty much sums it up for me, My TA is like driving a really fast dumptruck compared to this thing, so I barely notice it.

I got 175,000 Kms on my mine and I think the dealership had done the lifters before I got mine second hand. Ive put around 75,000 Kms on it since, and dont notice much more then some ticking on the first start of the day.

This winter its getting DOD delete. Mostly, I want more power, but getting rid of the big question mark that is those lifters is a huge plus.

I bought mine with 17k on the clock. DoD is still active and no issues with 77k now on the clock. I don't drive slow either
