Are you sure you might not be referring to the Chevy "SS" rather than Impala? The 2014 Impala is FWD architecture. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and move this to the appropriate section for the "SS"

The SS is a unibody car and your 57 is a body on frame car so no it's not going to work. If you want a custom frame for you '57 I would go to the Art Morrison Enterprise, Schwartz Performance, or Progressive Automotive websites. They build custom frames and would be a much better set up.

Sub-par

The RWD body on chassis was the 96 Impala. I'm sure that chassis would be be too long and wide for a tri-five Chevy.
