I think they look awesome, the interiors look bad *** and they are finally putting some ***** under the hoods of these cars. No more ok bland looking, shitty plastic interior under powered FWD cars, they are stepping things up for once and building cars I think can compete, just gotta keep the build quality on the up and up.

Yeah I REALLY LIKE the way the G8 looks. It will most likely be the FIRST new car I will ever buy.(Unless they come out with a New Bird first, HOLDING BREATH) But It reminds me of the good old days when family cars were more then JUST THAT. They had the room and the comfort but they had the NO HOLDS BAR POWER to make it a good fun car even with 4 doors. I hope they make a GXP version too that would be SWICKED!

They are different to the ls2's in that they run 10.4 cr but have a better intake L76 and L92 heads. Mine now has a baby cam in it which has woken it up a lot. They drive and handle much better than the previous model, the motor is set back and the front axle pushed forward giving it a near perfect 50/50 weight split. The shell is more rigid than before but they are a heavy car, mine weighs 4000 lbs stripped of spare wheel jack and anything else I can chuck out of it and 1/4 tank. They are also a big car, higher, longer and wider than the previous GTO.
So far they don't seem to have any problems with them just a few small niggling ones is all and everyone that drives them is pretty impressed with the experiance. I am sure you guys will be the same.

Well... I don't think you want to give them both up.... Not unless you want to known as "Mr. Softy"

Well I for one think it looks better than previous models but still sucks........I would keep my *********, thank you. Funny how some here get so happy with this car but still GM continues to be a step back. It almost looks has if they say "gee...Dodge have sold thousands of 4 door, rear wheel drive, V8, powerful cars...even those elephant SRT8 have sold very good.....do WE NEED to do the same??? I think so.....well....there you go" In the meantime Dodge/Chrysler are currently about to sell the Challenger and there is talk of a new 'Cuda.......I will keep my ********* for that one. I hope GM can someday gives us a complete line of performance cars apart from the Vette and the Camaro.
