Exclamation Pontiac G8 Microsite Updated - Features, Options, Gallery

Make mine a G8 GT with the Premium and Sport packages. Now if only I could decide between Ignition Orange or Magnetic Grey (the showcar color). Hmmm.

G8 colors

Holden colors we won't be able to pick, God knows why

For whatever reason we aren't getting all the colors offered on the Commodore.

It's no secret Holden set BMW as their benchmark in many respects from interior quality to driving dynamics. The 3-Series influence is apparent in the shape of the doors.

I don't care for the side profile, I was hoping it would follow the frame of the G6, but then again, this is from Australia, not Pontiac

Why would you want it to follow the frame of a FWD grocery getter? This is a RWD muscle sedan, it looks damn near perfect!

and man that car looked SWEET

if it was RWD and had a v-8 or even a turbo'd 6 I wouldnt mind driving it

Pontiac today confirmed pricing for its new rear-wheel drive G8 performance sedan will start at $27,595 when it hits the streets in early 2008. The V-8 powered G8 GT will be available for $29,995.

Holy ****, that's the deal of a century.

That's definitely a great price. I bet fully loaded it will be 37-40k. I think GM has done a good job at pricing some of the high-powered models lately (TB SS, G8, GTO, hopefully Camaro). The Silverado SS was overpriced and so was the SSR.

The G8 will definitely have a lot of buyers in the performance sedan market looking at it. The pricing makes it that much easier to go for the G8 instead of a g35, 3 or 5 series, lexus, and maybe even Mercedes.

Can't wait to see the G8 when it hits dealers lots. I'm sure that will be a great drivers car, especially with all of the luxury inside. This is an exciting time for fans of GM. With the G8, Camaro, GTO, and Z07 Corvette soon to be hitting the streets.

I'm sure a GXP is on the way but nothing is confirmed about it or how much it would cost or what would be under the hood.

Nose is just a bit stubby, not nessarily in a bad way, but like mentioned before, its designed after BMWs. Just doesn't have that Pontiac feel too it sometimes.

That is the steal of the century. GTO's stickered for 33k, and that was three years ago.

Although I am still not happy with the option list:
Where is the 6 speed manual?
Where is the satellite navigation?(this is a big deal for people spending 30k+ on a car, and people won't buy it if it doesn't have this option)
More colors. I didn't see a blue, green, yellow, or silver. I'd really like mine in that grey/blue/green color they had on GTO's.
