05+ GTs' vs 04 GTOs' (LS1) stock vs stock Alright, right to the point. How does it go down stock to stock, right off the dealership parking lot. (LS1 vs 3v 4.6)
300hp vs 350hp.
What do you guys think, and no one be bias. Let the specs speak for themselves, or personal experience. IMOP I believe it's a drivers race.
And if anyone got 0-60 specs, 0-100, 1/8 , 1/4 times would be great too!

My buddy has a 08 GT M5 and i have a 04 GTO M6.... I beat him bad stock vs. stock everytime we would race. Then he did FRPP cams, Short throw, 4.10 rear, Longtubes, full mac exhaust and intake ect. Basically full boltons.... Then i did pacesetter Longtubes and a tune and when we would run id pull him by half a car or so..... I now have a cam and full boltons and I pull him real hard... With all his mods with the 4.10 he put down around 320 / 335, you lose a little on the dyno with a higher rear ratio... Its really probably about 345 / 355. I put down 322 / 338 stock and 349 / 354 with longtubes and tune.... Now with the cam im putting down 390 / 378 with a slipping clutch... The dyno at modern muscle is a tad conservitive so im really probably at around 407 / 390 with a better clutch and more accurate dyno..... Mustang cant hang with the GTO without being full boltons compared to a pretty much stock one.

08GT SLP Catback, CAI 2nd gear vs. 04GTO Stock 3rd gear 45 - 150mph
He knows im faster so we tried to make it even, him in 2nd me in 3rd. I have the passenger which also makes it heavier.... He pulls from the 3rd honk but i pull him in and pass and even switch lanes lol....

I pull him bad here, even with a passenger.....

I pull on him right away but boggle 3rd gear which gives him time to come back, but as i get higher in the RPM i pull away again...

08GT full boltons including 4.10's Mickey Thompson DR's vs. 04GTO Cam, Longtubes, Untuned, Street tires lol.... Dig race, I spin real real bad and miss 3rd for a second but slam it in and catch him... He probably pulled me by 3 cars from the dig and another when i missed 3rd but i make ground pretty quick.... Not a real good vid but the only recent one we got, besides are track outting last week that i havent uploaded yet... My car has since been tuned.

Ha, too shey. Alright well nice videos, yet all the guys on the mustang forms say its the other way around, with slight edge to the mustang from a dig, and slight edge to the goats from a punch.

that's exactly what he was imposing. Tho it is a 07, it's just the 4.0. Some how ended up with it from my sister, and i'm not going to lie, it impressed me. in the works of trying to get a 94 supercoupe or a 3v gt. Just never been a fan of gm products. Tho the Cosmo purple goats are very clean looking, as well as the black with red leather int.

Hey its kind of off topic from the Mustang and GTO but yesterday i was driving home and a guy in a Chrysler 300C (Hemi) thought he was a bad a$$ and wanted to race. We launched from the light and we were dead even ( i need sticky tires, i was laying rubber )
When i hit second gear i gained half a car length on him, as i hit third i pulled away by about another car length and going into fourth it wasnt even a race.
It was funny cause after that the guy wouldnt even look at me... Ha ha ha

if there was a stock stang that could beat my stock 04 i never ran into him. i could see from a dig if it's an inexperience goat driver as they are more difficult to launch but with a good driver it goes to the GTO every time.
