What does the underside look like for gaining space for intakes/ air cleaner?
I think it looks good.

Ditto......plus we need to see one on a GTO, but so far it looks really promising.

Thanks Guys!!!
Very happy to see you guys like the design

Kingsize - I am sorry but currently we do not have the rails available...but this is something we will work on.

my first GTO - Thanks!

Semi-Retired - We just finished up our pin on hood...and are now in the process of finishing up the bolt on - so pictures soon
The frame will be comparable to our other hoods - parimeter frame with the middle section of the hood open for clearance.

JoeyD - Thanks!
We unfortunately do not have a pic on a car yet...but as soon as we do - we will have those up

Nick.celis - Thanks!
Sounds great!
Keep in mind to mention the LS1Tech member discount of 10% - so it's an even better price for these hoods!

Can I get it with a bigger cowl? I have to fit my 90* intake elbow on it.

I am sorry, but we currently do not offer it with a larger cowl...

However, once we get past all this craziness at the shop - we will start accepting custom orders again - which is generally means that we can make a hood, a scoop and join the two pieces together.
We expect to start accepting these orders again mid to end of April - if you wish to check with us at that point....

Thanks!
Jeanie

Pin on hoods are generally designed for racing applications.
There are no provisions for the rear hinges or front latch...and are generally held into place using dzus fasteners (which are small screw type pins with backing plates that are welded onto the inside of the fenders).
We generally recommend between 10-13 of these pins to ensure a snug fit to the car.

Thanks for the quick reply.

As soon as you have rails available for the pin on, I would love to buy a pin on hood, rails, & fasteners as a package. I have one of your hoods on my Camaro with the rails and it is one of the best fitting hoods I have ever used.

I think that will look better on the 04 gto than the 05-06 hood.

Thank you so much Kingsize!!!!
To be honest tho...not sure when we will have the rails available...these are not something we produce in house and instead are waiting for a supplier to offer some...so it might be a while.

Nick.Celis - yep, the bolt on will use the factory hinges and front latch

1Insane - We are accepting orders now
The bolt on version does have a 3 week production time and the pin on has a 2 week production time currently.

The height on these hoods is 3".

Thank you so very much everyone for the great feedback!!!
We are very happy that our design is something that people really like
