Default For my GTO peeps viewing Pleasure

I recently decide to put in a Nitrous Specific Cam and make some changes to get the full hit from my nitrous. I had reached a bottleneck with the -4 and the small Brand X solenoid with a 90* so I put in a -6, Nitrous Outlets large Nitrous Solenoid and a 45* fitting.

The results were pretty amazing.

Before 436rwhp 395tq on 227/230 cam and on 175 shot we were only netting about 140 or so.

With Nitrous Cam 464rwhp and 411tq....remove bottle neck and 200 shot netted 236! So on a Stock Bottom LS1 we are pushing 700rwhp 631tq on a 200 pill.

Let me get this straight, I'm new to these cars. With cams, bolt ons, and a healthy shot of nitrous this car made 700whp?

Yep mods are in my signature. This is not recommended for longevity by any means. I have slowly increased the nitrous shot and have a great tuner. Most people will not push a stock block this hard.

Cool man thanks for the info. Would the longevity increase a great deal if you were to run say 500whp? Also is the manual any weaker than the auto trans? Thanks in advance, just getting used to all this 8 cylinder stuff haha.

It will live all day long at 550rwhp. Some have gone years on 600rwhp. But more then that it is short lived. The manual t56 is stronger and will hold alot more power as long as you have a good clutch. My AutoTrans is completly built to handle the power. People get failure between 450-500rwhp

Fixed it for you Daniel. Another thing to consider is the rear end longevity of a M6 vs Auto. The M6 is gonna wheel-hop like a bitch while the auto seems to combat that much better. Oh and your car is just plain sick Daniel.

Oh yeah no doubt. On Nellie at 700rwhp I had to replace the entire driveline! Not cheap. Wheel hop sucks, and running bias ply ET Streets on the street is not a good option to combat it. Tires once a month? no thanks
