Gforce Engineering 9" IRS
I just couldnt wait any longer and had to show some pics off. We decided not to show any pics until we had a finished product ready to go, that is why we have been so quiet about the kits.
We are now getting some housings back from the powder coater and will be shipping a few kits soon so I thought it was time to start showing what we have been working on.
You might notice that our 9" mounts a little different then what your used to.
We went with a big rear bushing mounted sideways similar to what is used on the newer Camaro and G8 plus other newer Zeta platform vehicles.
It will make more sense when I post up installed pics (probably tomorrow).
We also incorporated a solid top mount that allows the housing to bolt directly to the cradle just like the OEM housing with no brackets.
The only bracket is the front mount.
Another thing you'll notice is the billet machined aluminum ABS sensor holders.
We went the extra mile to make sure this kit was designed and built to include all the innovative and current features we have designed into our Camaro, G8 and CTSV kits. After all, the GTO market is our biggest market and this had to be our crown jewel
I'll get more pics and information up over the next few days.
We have a bunch of these kits that have been pre-ordered so it will be 2-3 weeks before we get enough built to fill any new orders.
Thanks
Chris

The base kit is $3900. and then you can add a pumpkin with your choice of gears and posi unit. The Strange built pumpkin is about $1399. so the complete kit is $4999.
The photo we have on our web site is our CTSV kit, the GTO kit doesnt come with outer stubs since most people dont replace them.

I love it, but I'd have to sell my current set-up (Kaaz, BMR stubs-axles, DSS shaft). Mine was done about 4 years ago, before all these good Gforce parts were available.

^ the rear we have is not super strong and parts for them are VERY expensive......
some people chose to build and strengthen our Dana M80's..... some do Ford 8.8 IRS swaps... from what i understand Chris designed this set up because while the custom case cost some money up front.... 9" replacement parts are dirt cheap

Well thats always the way stuff seems to work out for me. Thanks for the reply Chris. Im sure ill be talking with you before long. Im beginning to think i may need to go automatic in this anyways, so perhaps this additional wait is what i need to get my stuff in order anyways. It was up between your kit and the "other guys", but the craftsmanship on yours looks eons over the other one available. Not to mention the cost is through the roof in comparison on the other one.

When I am ready for this, is there any sort of deal you would cut me since i plan on getting all of the bells and whistles? I tried to PM this, but am having some issues here with my connection so i just posted it here..
I was wanting to get this entire rear end setup with the strange pro iron, a carbon driveshaft upgrade, and the rear coilover bracket kit, and probably the adjustable toe links. Well, that is if you think i could make these shocks work on the bracket kit... http://www.penskeshocks.com/High_Per...760_Series.php
Im not really building a drag car persay, but i am not doing this again. I just want to put this together so i can beat the holy hell out of it and not break it. Im shooting for over 1000ft lbs if i can. At the same time, i want to set the suspension up to destroy turns. haha, i guess that sounds pretty ridiculous to most, but i spose i am a wierd son of a bitch. Im not going to lose a ton of geometry and handling moving these shocks inward right? YES, i know that i wont be shredding turns with that much power, but thats what an ams1000 is for. At the same time, i dont want to have an issue when something comes my way and i need to crank it up.
Jesus, i sound like a mongoloid... Just figured perhaps you have some customers who build stuff aside from drag race only setups.
I could do a cheaper alternative YES, but in the end its possible ill swap the shocks down the road and the car may switch purpose, who knows. Im like a dog with 32 treats to choose from sometimes.
Thanks again for the help.
