Question Which brand of Torque Converter??

Hi,
I've got a 06' GTO, A-4 trans. I've had good luck with Yank in my previous F-Body (Yank SS 3600), but I might try another brand (other than the junk TCI makes) I guess that leaves Vigilante, Fuddle, or another Yank.. any thoughts on a quality built converter?? Also, is it better to go with a dual clutch setup over single? Seems to make sense.. or add to the strength of the converter..I wasn't sure if the Yank SS series converters were dual clutches or not.

I'd go with at least a 3500 Stall; as I plan on adding a cam later on down the road. (VRX-5, TSP 228R, VRX-4)

Thanks fellow LSX enthusiasts

when I converted from M6 to the 4L80E I talked to many shops / dealers and David at Yank offered excellent customer service, a great price, and I feel an excellent product. Not saying others won't. But David asked all the important questions of what is being built, and how it's driven, etc. As to fully understand what kind of converter I needed.

Yank and FTI seem to be the most popular choice. I dont have experience with either, because I'm an M6 guy. Automatics are for little girlie men

Thanks for all the input guys.

I have a Vig 3600, love it. Had no issues. Installed it prior to my cam and driveablity was fine didn't notice any change other than quicker gear change when standing on it (Could have been my tuner). Customer support is a non issue and they will restall for me if needed down the road for free too. I don't have any other convertor experience and this is my first stalled car, so take my info for novice info. FTI and Circle D make some serisous convertors as well, they won't let you down. Good luck.
