Looking to Purcahse 05 or 06 Goat Lookign at an 05 GTO with 29k on it and an 06 GTo with 31k on it. both autos, as it will be a daily driver and i have the 6 speed in the firehawk.
anything i should know or look for inparticular on these cars as I am not very familiar with them? any reason to stay away from them completely?

I'm happy with mine. Don't like the occassional wheel hop at the track(even with bags), had some clutch issues, and small power steering fluid leak, but other than that the car is fine. Oh the gas cap blows and it will set off your cel and **** you off, so if you buy one replace the cap. I must say you do get a lot for your money, 400 horse for 17 to 18 grand.

ive got an 05 and i wouldnt trade it for anything i can afford lol, only small differences form 05 to 06 lock button, better taillights, different vallance but all small touches that i have no issue living without, in the end a great car, mines a DD/weekend warrior. lol

have to stay away from 18's due to driving nyc roads. too much blow out potential. Just found out the 05 i was lookign out was sold out from under me, but the search continues unless i can find a steal on a G8 GT

now the curveball, the oppertunity to purchase my Grand[a's 05 jaguar XJR has come up for similar money and it has nav, blue tooth, satellite blus all the luxury bells and whistles. tough decision
