Default BCM wiring harness fixed (new goat owners!)

I recently posted about my 2004 goat I got a few weeks back. Been reading left and right on any issues on the GTO and anything that needed to be addressed asap to my new vehicle.

I have seen lots of new GTO owners posting on here recently...I would like to inform you to check your BCM wiring harness behind the glove box! I read up on the issue of the wiring harness being cut by rubbing...checked mine today and sure enough the wrapping GM put on it initially was beginning to cut away and expose wires. Wrapped some hose around the wire harness, zip tied it and put some electrical tape on the metal edge it was contacting.

Take some time to pull the box and check the wires, I am glad I did.

Dont forget to check your gas line under the hood. It rubs against the the plastic FRC and you have a chance for BBQ goat.
