Default Proxes MGW-P vs. JHP GMM Ripshifter

I did a search, but couldn't find a poll or a debate thread between the two proclaimed "best shifters" for our cars. The GMM is about $100+ more, but the MGW-P takes 2-4 weeks for delivery. So debate away...

Mgw all the way im ordering on when I get back off my deplyment heard they shift like butter and a great quality shifter

had a mgw shifter in my vette and when i heard a guy makes it work for the gto's i ordered it up as it is a great unit!

Got the MGW-P in my car and love it I have the model with metal handle and 8-ball shifter. nice short shifts and never miss shifts

I voted Ripshift as that's what I have. It was the only shifter out back then unless you want to count the crappy B&M.

Had both, plus one more, MGW-P is the way to go!

You have been with the stock shifter this long, whats another few weeks!

I have the MGW-P. I haven't had anything other than stock before this one so I cannot compare it to a GMM. I decided to buy it based on the recommendations of others. No complaints here. Well worth the money and the wait!!

They generally have been known to break down sooner rather than later. The two that's in discussion in this thread are the top two choices for 6 speed users.
