I spotted this today near my house. I waived the guy down and chatted. He said it's a salvage title ls1 goat with the bed of a Ute from Australia. Guy said there's someone making them with a G8 front end as well.

There was one for sale over here on craigslist a while back.

Was RHD, and the top model from australia. I just happened to type ute in to craigslist and there was actually one there.

I think they are cool and like the idea of Chevy badging it as an El Camino. The Lumina SS front end would work perfect.
